In Sympathy

So sorry for your loss. My nan passed away last year and it feels like my whole world has been taken away. My thoughts are with you. God bless. I hope you find this poem of comfort, as I have done. x

What is Dying?

A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says 'She is gone'.

Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large now as when I last saw her. Her diminished size and total loss from my sight is in me, not in her.

And just at the moment when someone at my side says she is gone there are others who are watching her coming over their horizon and other voices take up a glad shout 'There she comes!'

That is what dying is. An horizon and just the limit of our sight.

Lift us up, Oh Lord, that we may see further.

we all miss you

grandma, well what can i say! you are one very special lady and definatly one of a kind... you left a big gap in my life when you left and i miss you terribly! i hope your happy up there with grandad and auntie mav, they better be looking after you :-)
Kacey and Blake miss you loads but we have pictures of you, and they always know you loved them very much! save a place up there for me, when it's my time i'll come and have a drink with you all (none of that whisky mind) you will always be in my heart... we all love you xxx xxx

miss you too much

i wish soo much that you was here grandma you were always there for me to talk to if i evr needed a friend i could turn to you. it hurts so much thinking about you because then i have to acknowledge that your not here anymore and i wish sooo much that you were. i wish i cud cuddle you right now n talk to you n tell you all the things i cant tell anybody else. i miss you sooo much i wish you was here right now. wit for me in heaven i love you xxxxxx

LETTER FROM HEAVEN

To my dearest family some things I'd like to say
But first of all to let you know that I arrived today,
I'm writing this from Heaven. Here I shall dwell with God above
Here, there's no more tears of sadness. Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through
God picked me up and hugged me and He said 'I welcome you,
It's good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone,
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly, you are part of my plan
There's so much that we have to do to help our mortal man.'
God gave me a list of things that he wished for me to do
And foremost on the list was to watch and care for you
And when you lie in bed at night, the days chores put to flight
God and I are closest to you . . in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth and all those loving years
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears
But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
1 wish that I could tell you all that God has planned
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand
But one thing is for certain though my life on earth is o'er
I'm closer to you now than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind
I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind
And when it's time for you to go . . from that body to be free
Remember you're not going . . you're just coming here to me.

my grandma was ace x x x x x

my grandma was the best person ever she was soooo funny once i threw a party 4 my 2 children with a huge bouncy castle and even thou she was like 71 she was the first one(adult) to get drunk n get on it was the most amazing party and my grandma bein there made it even better we all miss you grandma. x x x x x if u havn't met elvis yet. when you do what ever you do dont offer him a biscuit x x x love you millions god bless x x

REPLY TO A LETTER FROM HEAVEN

My Dearest Loved one:



I received your Letter from Heaven,

It made the teardrops fall.

But knowing you’re with God above,

Sweet memories, I will recall.



I know that you are with me,

For I feel your presence near.

And if I listen closely,

Your voice I then can hear.



I know you’re watching o’er me,

As you promised you would do.

And when I feel so saddened,

It’s your letter that sees me through.



When I lay in bed at night,

The day’s chores put to flight,

I truly feel your presence,

Like a warm and glowing light.



The rocky roads you mentioned,

And the hills that I must climb;

I’ve done exactly what you said,

By taking one day at a time.



I’ve tried to help others,

Who are in sorrow and in pain.

And now I am contented,

My day was not in vain.

My grandma xx

hi grandma miss you loads you were ma best friend and always offered me advice when i needed it evn wen a didnt lol.
i was ya lil bar maid at weekends wen you and aunty may may had ya whisky evn tho i used to spill a bit lol.
the best time of the week was weekends wen i was cumin to stay over.
i miss you sooo much give may may a kiss for me xx
